Backup Email Questions
Q: Backup Failure:
if you had at least one file in use that the client was unable to back up, you’ll receive a backup failure notice by email. 99% of the time, this means that just one or two files failed to back up. You can confirm this by clicking “download here” on the detailed report section. If you need more assistance, please feel free to contact our helpdesk and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Q: Backup Email Message:
Files and folders were skipped: 1239 (code: 1603) System/hidden files and folders skipped: 1239 Open the Advanced Filter step and modify settings.
This message is due to the default selection “Do not backup system or hidden folders”. You can enable the backup of hidden or system folders in the backup client by unchecking the “Do not back up system and hidden files” under the advanced filter.
